Oh for the love of Spork...

Ahem... err... yeah, so I took about a year off. I'm introverted like that.

Anyway, finished collecting up the remaining TM:GXP episodes. It ended a little flat. Kajishima has a tendency to not break up his harems, and he does lots of shows about harems. I just didn't expect the population of Seina's to double in the last 15 minutes of the show. That poor poor shmuck. (And for pedantic geekery, I'd like to formally complain about the fact that the vendor for DVD cases was apparently changed by Funimation sometime between volumes 6 and 7. I now have 6 nifty silver-grey cases and two plain-jane black ones. Who's skull needs cracked for this?)

Since then I acquired the first half of Magical Project S (yeah Christmas). It simply reaffirmed my adoration for the show. It's not high art, but it's light-hearted in a way that is a breath of fresh air to balance the angst-fest of Evangelion copycats.

Based on the word of Steven Den Beste, I picked up the first volume of Haibane Renmei. This show is very difficult to pin down (and from the synopsis I've read around the Intraweb, it doesn't get much easier after seeing all of it). It's obviously got some sort of dreamworld/afterlife motif brewing, but beyond that, there's not much to go on. I'm interested to see where this goes.

Beyond that, the semester ended with a whimper. Decent grades, better than I'd hoped as a matter of fact...
