Succumbing to the pressure...

You scored as SG-1 (Stargate). You are versatile and diverse in your thinking. You have an open mind to that which seems highly unlikely and accept it with a bit of humor. Now if only aliens would stop trying to take over your body.

It's far too easy to waste valuable time cross referencing seiyuu on imdb or ANN. However, it's nice to stumble across little surprises now and then.

One such surprise was to discover that the seiyuu that played Jinto in the Senkai no ~ series was also the voice of Matsuya Mitsuki in Excel Saga. The suprise wasn't that Jinto was performed by a woman. That's actually quite common. What surprised me was how such a deep (relative of course) voice could come out of someone so small (see the pic at the ANN link).

The other nice part of this little discovery was finding out that the next volume in the Senkai no Senki series is being released in Japan. The switch to OAV/OVA format is a bit surprising. I'm not sure whether that's a positive or negative. It usually means better production values and longer episodes, but it could also mean the show wasn't drawing enough viewership to warrant another TV release.

*ponder*

UPDATE: Odd. It looks like there may have only been 2 episodes released. That would be very short given the source material. The run-time of the first release was only 30 minutes and the second was 35 minutes. It's been dormant since September and no one has bought up the rights yet? Animesuki has the Bittorrent up. Maybe I'll have to see what's going on with this show...

Well that certainly didn't last as long as my last MSI board...
